Astral Projection and NDE

Hi,

I'm doing a study right now about astral projection, near death experiences, and visions.

2 Corinthians 12:2-4 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Revelation 4:1-2 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this." Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.

The word show is used in Jeremiah 33:3 and Revelation 4:1-2. Now the spirit is the capacity to respond to God. God says Call to Me (respond to God), and I will answer you, and SHOW you great and mighty things."

Do you suppose a NDE is from God?

The Bible clearly says that only God can receive a spirit out of the body and if He does, it is to show the spirit or recieve the spirit.

The Spirit of God the Spirit of life.

The Spirit is the Spirit of life, the SOURCE. (Job 33:4)

The Spirit is the Spirit of life, the SUSTAINER. (Job 34:14-15)

The Spirit is the Spirit of life, the CREATOR. (Psalm 104:30)

Although God is our Creator, the derivative of astral projection comes from humanity, religion, and many occult practices - it is not a God desired activity. The experiences of Paul is not an astral projection as astral projection have never been known to enter the 3rd heaven.

By the Holy Spirit and holy angels, God has allowed the entry of mankind into heaven. Heaven is God's throne and the evil hierarchies have been dispelled and spoiled by Jesus. Evil, and the unsaved do not have a place in heaven, nor is any entry allowed.

I know of no one who has astral projected into heaven, nor would their presence be allowed. There are many who can astral project; however, what is the puirpose of such projection and who do they see, meet, and engage with? If you compare the Paul statment of being absent from the body and being in the presence of the Lord to 2 Esdras 7 -roaming the earth for the unsaved spirits - then except for holy angels of God - the spirits that one would engage with on earth are those that have been condemned! For this reason astral projection serves no purpose of God, but has been associated with the occult.

The horrors of meeting a spirit guide has been the dredge of many who are deceived by the demonic spirits. Spiritualism is not achieving a higher calling of God but the deception of demonic spirits. Witchcraft has joined the functional role of fallen angels by sending spirits into people and controlling people's lives by demonic spirits.

NDE: is a coined termed for having died and returning to life? I do not know of spiritual scriptural definitions for: astral projection; NDE; and visions per your examples. In my book - When Petals Fall, a minister's introspection into pain, suffering and dying - God does allow people who have died to come back to their bodies to continue to live. Is this NDE? It has never been defined as such.

Most such terminologiies are from man and should not be defined spiritually, which is a major concern when discussing theology and doctrine. It should be an important element of your research to achieve truth and not truism or perception. We define God and His Word by what mankind has perceived and not what God, the All Spirit God, has meant. For this reason, the Holy Spirit does help us by His gifts to understand the Word. Unless the Word is spiritually defined by the Holy Spirit it is very difficult to understand what God meant. If we as humans define the spirituality of God, we would be most vulnerable to erred meanings that have human origins.

Visions: are remarkable and are from God. They come in different experiences and are to show the person things that will come to past. Almost like a prophecy, visions enable people to realize things to come into their lives. The bible warns us against the deception of dreams and not visions. Demonic spirits do create dreams and hallucinations in the occipital lobe and the upper back and sides of the brain. The lack of understanding what demonic spirits do inside of people have been most misleading and false.

Asral projection is Satan's counterfeit to God allowing someone to have an out of body experience. God did that with Paul and there are other believers that have testified to God taking them in the Spirit somewhere.
